Is There A Classy Way To Store Your Wine Stoppers?
In the age in which home kitchen design is a cottage industry all of its own, it can seem like there is little that remains to be perfected. Etsy is rife with curios designed to make your kitchen the most Insta-worthy on your block. Owning a twee wine rack has turned into a veritable personality trait. With that said, there are very few options when it comes to displaying your wine stoppers. Many such intricate and elegant stoppers exist, but most people end up just tossing them into a drawer when they are not in use. If you look on Amazon for a stand on which to display them, you are really only given three options, none of them ideal:
1. Acrylic
This is by far the most prevalent type of wine stopper stand on Amazon, presumably because it is dirt cheap to make. It is offered by several sellers, and you can choose different variations depending on how many stoppers you want it to hold. Unfortunately, it is extraordinarily ugly. One of the images even shows it being used to store toothbrushes. That should be reason enough to keep this piece of junk as far away from your wine collection as possible.
2. Wooden

This wooden wine stopper stand has the distinct advantage of being more visually appealing than the acrylic option. Unfortunately, that is such a low bar that it does not mean much. The holes are also too big for most wine stoppers.
3. Metal

This is the perfect wine stopper holder for anyone who wants their stoppers displayed like an Edible Arrangement. This is probably the best of the three when factoring in both aesthetics and utility. On the other hand, it holds 12 stoppers which is way too many. Who needs to own 12 wine stoppers? Who opens 12 bottles of wine without finishing a single one?
