The Dyson Hot + Cool Air Purifier Is One Of The Best Purchases I’ve Ever Made
In my 3-bedroom apartment, I somehow ended up in the room that is the hottest in the summer and the coldest in the winter. In fact, I almost found myself investing in both a heater and a fan. For some reason, I didn’t; and I’m glad I didn’t. Not long after, I saw a magazine ad for the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool air purifier. The size of this machine is ideal, and it provides just the functions I need. It can even be placed on a cabinet due to its lightweight. It has more features than I thought.
This machine is defined by its multi-functionality. It not only serves as a space heater but also can be used as a fan and an air purifier. The machine projects over 77 gallons of smooth, purified air per second. It purifies the air in every corner of my room. With its backward airflow mode, the air can be purified without heating or cooling the room. Actually, it can even sense particles and gases. I do not have to turn it in the air purifier mod:, it senses dust, pollen, mold, and odors automatically. Once it senses these air pollution events, the purification process starts immediately. It can capture 99.97% of allergens as small as 0.3 microns. My roommate smokes and has a cat. I had been coughing for a month before I purchased this machine. It keeps me away from allergies, pets, dust, smoke, pollen and mold spores.
The air purifying feature of this Dyson product should distract that the fact it can be used as a heater. I am the kind of person who does not want to leave the bed once I get in it. However, I always forgot to turn the heater on before going to bed. I used to wake up in the middle of the night. With the thermostatic control, this machine monitors my room temperature. When the temperature goes down, it brings heat back to my room.
Also, since it connects to WiFi, the heater can be controlled remotely. I downloaded the Dyson Link app that provides real-time reports on not only the air quality in my room but also the temperature, humidity, and filter life. In addition, I use the app to create schedules. Besides the app, I can ask Alexa to turn the machine on and off and change modes.
Before I made the purchase, I was afraid that it would be very noisy when it operates at night (my main time for using it). The concern disappeared after I read the product reviews. Hopefully this will allay your concerns as well. It creates no noise and a shows a dimmed display once I turn on the night-time mode.
The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool air purifier requires little to no maintenance. I have been using it for eight months and 12 hours a day without issue. I’m looking forward to using it to keep cool in the summer months ahead.
