Is This Hair Dryer Really Worth $400?
The average price for a hair dryer on Amazon is $40. Would you think I’m insane if I told you I spent $400 on a hair dryer? After using it for months, I want to put it in writing that it was a good investment!
The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer saves me a decent amount of time each morning, and I do recommend it if you can afford it.
When Dyson announced and released the supersonic hair dryer, I was attracted by its stylish look. They actually offer limited editions for different countries and holidays. The picture above is the limited edition storage case bag that Dyson released in China on Mother’s Day. It was sold out within hours of its release. Obviously, I was one of them. I’m glad I made the purchase because everyone seemed so jealous when I posted a picture of it on social media.
Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is designed for fast drying. My last hairdryer normally took me about 15 minutes to blow-dry it. However, Dyson cuts that down to 7 minutes. Since it took me too long to dry my hair, I used to lie in my bed and fall asleep with wet hair — and wake up with a headache in the morning. Sleeping with wet hair not only causes severe hair breakage, it also worsens your immune system.
Now that I have the supersonic hair dryer, I can dry my hair completely each day, leaving my hair smooth, soft and incredibly shiny.
The Dyson digital motor V9 spins six times faster than other hair dryer motors, providing the high speed and high airflow required to reduce hair damage. The round cord never gets tangled. It is very easy to clean the filter, which is an important since a dirty filter can cause the hair dryer to overheat or even burn your hair. My hair has never gotten caught in the back of the dryer because the blades are never exposed. The surface never heats up. More importantly, it only weighs 1.18 lbs, which is very light. My arms never get sore when using the supersonic hair dryer.
There are four precise heat settings provided: 212°F fast drying and styling, 176°F regular drying, 140°F gentle drying and constant cold.
